You can browse our public listings without creating an account. This notice explains the information used by our website and optional account features.

Information we use
When you sign in with an available provider, we receive identity information needed to create your session, such as an account identifier, email address, and verification status. We do not receive your Google, Microsoft, or ChatGPT password. Email sign-in uses a short-lived verification code.
If you save preferences, we store them with your account, including budget, categories, and notification choices. If you contact us, we receive your email and the information you send.
Cookies and activity
Essential cookies maintain sign-in and protect authentication requests. Account sessions expire after seven days. Sign-in challenges expire after ten minutes; expired authentication records are cleared during later authentication activity. Signing out revokes your application session.
We count listing page views and retailer-link clicks in aggregate to understand which listings are useful. These counters do not store a visitor profile. Hosting and security services may process technical request data, including IP addresses and browser information. Authentication requests use rate limits to reduce abuse.
Service providers and external links
The site runs on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. The identity provider you choose processes sign-in under its own privacy terms. When email delivery is enabled, Resend processes the recipient address and message. Account and email options that are not connected are identified in the sign-in experience.
Retailer links take you to another website. Retailers and affiliate networks may use their own cookies or attribution identifiers under their own policies. Your checkout and payment information is handled there, not by Deal Compass.
Your choices
Use public browsing without an account, change saved preferences and notification choices from your account when available, or contact contact@techdealcompass.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. We retain account preferences until they are changed or removed; security and hosting records follow the applicable service provider’s retention practices.
