Ordinary links and affiliate links
We can link to a retailer before joining its affiliate program. Our initial manually reviewed listings use ordinary product links unless an affiliate relationship has been established. Those ordinary links do not earn us a commission.
If an affiliate relationship is activated, eligible links may earn us a commission when you purchase, at no additional cost to you. We disclose that possibility near retailer links. We do not describe pending applications as approved partnerships.
What influences our selections
Our editorial notes focus on configuration, price, intended use, and limitations. We do not promise the lowest price, test results we have not measured, or a complete comparison of every retailer.
